去年 11 月，微软宣布了 Windows Live 的短信 SMS 功能，但该功能现在才正式推出，并且只向美国和英国地区开放，用户需要在 mobile.live.com 设置手机号码。 Windows Live 短信 SMS 的具体命令和功能包括，具体信息也可移步至官方博客：

• 更新个人状态信息（PSM） 命令: update <状态信息>
• 检查 Windows Live Calendar 日历项 命令: today 或 tomorrow
• 邀请加入 Windows Live 网络 命令: invite <对方 Windows Live ID>
• 获取 Windows Live 联系人信息 命令: srch <对方姓名>

美国 AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, 或 Nextel 移动用户发送 Windows Live 短信 SMS 命令至 MyLive 或 695483。英国 Vodafone, Orange, T-Mobile, O2, 或 Virgin 移动用户发送至 88804。 该 Windows Live 短信功能不收取额外的服务费用（仅收短信费）。另外，仍不知微软是否会在美国、英国以外的市场推出该功能。 LiveSide: SMS For Windows Live
